Over the course of almost 20 years our client has become a leading investor focusing on the software sector in the DACH and Benelux countries as well as Scandinavia. They are one of the largest European specialists for management buyouts and later-stage growth capital in this space. With over 100 completed investments of over €2bn in assets under management (AUM), this firm brings extensive investment experience as well as deep expertise in its field.
The firm is now looking to hire an additional member of its investment team at Associate level. This is an exciting opportunity for an investment professional to join their Dusseldorf team with a high degree of deal activity from day one. The role incorporates all aspects of the deal cycle, from origination to execution, with active portfolio involvement. The firm seeks to hire with a long-term perspective and will provide you with excellent career development opportunities. What the job involves
- High degree of responsibility from the start, working within a flat hierarchy
- Active involvement in deal processes and supporting portfolio companies in strong cooperation with your team
- Assessing the viability of investments through financial modelling as well as conducting market and strategic analyses
- Environment with a high level of deal activity
- Strong education record (bachelor's or master's degree) in the field of Finance, Business or Economics
- Additional education in software / technology / computer science / information science is a plus
- Relevant experience in Investment Banking (M&A), consulting or Big 4
- Highly numerate, strong modelling skills and familiarity with relevant contracts
- Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, a team player with hands-on mentality
- Native German speaker and excellent English skills are required
